Jock Holden's 70th Birthday weekend (March 2011)had exclusive use of the Hotel and had the following to say!

'We were at your hotel over the weekend. I am Jock Holden's sister and I
would just like to say what a wonderful weekend you gave us all, with
your excellent service and lovely meals. We were all amazed at how
efficient you were in the kitchen and waiter service, getting the meals
on tables without any fuss or bother and still hot! That was very well
done and I lovd your speech at the end as well! Please give my thanks
to all your staff, they did well and were so friendly too. Just what you
want from an hotel. We live in Northampton, a bit too far to make you
our local unfortunately! Well done.
